Originally from a ranching family in Northern California, Mahlon Owens, has recently moved back to the area of her alma mater, Cal Poly. Throughout her college career she worked within the community with Young Cattlemen’s, SLO Cattlemen’s, Bull Test, Western Bonanza, and various other extra curriculars. After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in agriculture communication and minor in agriculture business, she obtained her real estate license and insurance license for crop insurance purposes.
Before coming to Stable Properties, Mahlon had worked as a commercial agriculture real estate agent for AG-LAND Investment Brokers. While with AG-LAND, she created social media accounts, content, and in-house social media marketing outlines for each independent listing. In her past dealings, she has represented many clients and managed various property types ranging from large ranches, orchards, and farmsteads to vacant lots. She has spent a lot of time conducting property evaluations and learning proper investigation strategies from local appraisers and her former brokers, Sam Mudd and Bert Owens.
Mahlon’s knowledge of agriculture and property management runs deep. She has grown up working on the family ranches, rental properties, and for the family real estate and crop insurance businesses. As she reacquaints herself with the central coast, she will be helping with local Cattlewomen, Young Farms and Ranchers, entering ranch rodeos and spending time with friends and nearby family. In all her efforts, Mahlon operates in a positive, optimistic, and hands-on way. She prioritizes honesty, fairness, and confidentiality. Her end goal with all her clients is to ensure that they are happy and STABLE.
